Fellowship Programs

The purpose of the fellowship program is to encourage and strengthen the association thru involvement, leadership, education and participation of members and photographers.

There are three degrees that can be obtained through Professional Photographers of Idaho the “Idaho Fellow of Photography” the “Idaho Fellow of Photographic Service” And “Idaho Fellow of Photographic Education”.  These degrees were designed to encourage not only photographers but also the non-photographer in membership of the Professional Photographers of Idaho.

FELLOWSHIPS

IDAHO FELLOW OF PHOTOGRAPHY (I.F.P.)

For those who desire to submit exhibition prints in PP of Idaho Conventions and provide service as well.  Fellowship can be obtained by print merits alone or with a combination of print and service merits.

IDAHO FELLOW OF PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICE (I.F.P.S.)

For those who provide leadership and service to the PP of Idaho, non-camera persons who are technicians in the various arts of photography, such as colorists, managers, retouchers, and sales specialists.

IDAHO FELLOW OF PHOTOGRAPHIC EDUCATION (I.F.P.E.)

For those who desire to further their education through attending education classes and/or teach their fellow photographers.

You are encouraged to participate in this program.  While personally rewarding, it greatly strengthens our Industry and association.

Proof of Fellowship Merits shall be the sole responsibility of the participant in order for this program to work you MUST show proof of merits received, such as copies of your certificates of merit or other written proof of merits.  These then must be submitted to the Fellowship Chairman by December 31 of the year they are earned in order to be credited towards your degree or bar. Merits and Fellowships will be awarded to members of Professional Photographers of Idaho in good standing during the annual convention.
