Milky Way Shoot - City of Rocks!

Join PPI for a wonderful evening of Milky Way photography!

At the City of Rocks National Reserve this July 17 and 18. Robert Mance has reserved two large campsites, one for him and one for whoever might need one. Campsites are filling up FAST! Both of his sites are capable of fitting large trailers or motor-homes, and pretty sure we can have a tent at each site as well. Please let Robert know if you would like to camp with him. There are lodging options near City of Rocks for those non-campers. Those accommodations are up to you.

We can start with cocktails (bring your own) and Robert Mance's world famous spaghetti dinner at his trailer at 4PM, then around 7:30PM we'll head on down to Bread Loaf Mountain for some shoot'n.

PPI is happy to announce our Mid-Year Image Competition to be held on Saturday, August 15 starting at 9:00 AM MT. This competition is open to everyone. All entries must be uploaded and paid for through printcompetition.com.

Boise Inter-AM Motocross (August 22, 2026)

Here it is ... THE photography event of the year! This is where my passion is! This certainly isn't for everyone but I find this the most exciting event for photography. For safety reasons I have to limit this event to four people. The cost of the event is $25 for both days payable at the gate. And you have to sign a waiver saying if you can't run fast enough and get run over it's not their fault.

I will meet you at the track and give you some guidelines on track etiquette, some safety guidelines, and a safety vest so you can be seen.
